Duplicate Chatbot

We're excited to announce a new feature that allows chatbot administrators to duplicate both configurations and training data when creating a new chatbot. The newly created chatbot will be owned by the user who initiates the copy.

You can access this feature from the /my-chatbots page. The copy function is available exclusively to users with admin privileges for the chatbot. This means you must either own the chatbot or have been granted admin permissions by another user.

When you click the Copy button, you'll be presented with options to customize your copy.

By enabling the Copy Training Data option, your new chatbot will inherit all training data from the original chatbot. If you leave this option disabled, only the configuration settings will be duplicated, creating a fresh chatbot without any training data.

To maintain security and prevent unintended consequences, the following configurations are excluded from the copying process:

• Operations Settings

  • webhooks: Webhook configurations
  • team: Team associations

• Images Assets

  • avatar: Chatbot's avatar image
  • chatIcon: Chat interface icon
  • realtime.avatar: Avatar for realtime interactions
