This powerful update not only automates responses but also gives you the flexibility to seamlessly take over conversations when needed, striking the perfect balance between efficiency and personal engagement. Plus, our new Make workflow template enables batch messaging for even more effective outreach.
What's New:

Direct Communication via Facebook Messenger:
- Connect your chatbot to your Facebook Pages and automate responses while retaining the ability for direct human takeover.
- Leverage our Make workflow template to send messages in batches, expanding your reach to multiple customers simultaneously.

Streamlined Integration Process:
- Step 1: Navigate to Dashboard > [Chatbot] > Integrations and select the Messenger integration card.
- Step 2: Click the Connect button in the pop-up window.
- Step 3: Grant permission for Chat Data to use your information (or choose Edit Previous Settings to modify your selection).
- Step 4: Select the Facebook Page you want to connect and review the necessary permissions.
- Step 5: Confirm the integration; a success message will appear along with your connected Facebook Page.
- Testing: Scan the provided QR code or access the INBOX link to navigate to your Facebook Business Suite inbox for a live demo.

Manual Access Token Renewal:
- Important: The Messenger integration requires manual renewal of the access token every 60 days.
- You'll receive a notification email 10 days before the token expires. Renew manually to extend its validity for another 60 days.

Enhanced Live Chat Handover:
- Switch from AI responses to direct human chat effortlessly:
- Use the INBOX link or Chat logs Dashboard to access and respond to Messenger conversations.
- If you have live chat enabled, select the conversation from the Live Chat dashboard or filter by Messenger conversations.
- Tip: Turn off the AI chatbot for a conversation to ensure only your human response is sent.
- When offline, if a customer responds while the AI is off, you'll receive an email with a link to the chat portal for prompt follow-up.

Automatic AI Chatbot Pause:
- Configure an automatic pause (up to 1 week) during Messenger integration setup.
- During the pause, customer messages bypass the AI and go directly to you via email notifications.
- Note: This feature works exclusively with Chat Data's native live chat interface, as Facebook's Business Platform does not relay messages to Chat Data.

Understanding INBOX vs. Live Chat Dashboard:
- INBOX (Facebook Interface): Messages sent here while the AI is off are managed by Facebook and will not be captured by Chat Data.
- Live Chat Dashboard (Chat Data Interface): Offers offline email notifications when you're not available, ensuring you never miss a conversation.
